The employers’ organization HORA, which represents the hotel industry in Romania, is proposing to the government a project to reopen restaurants, bars and cafes, to comply with the rules of social distance and protection.

The project contemplates the gradual reopening of the restaurants from May 16, and would have three phases. The first phase would begin on May 16, with Phase 2 on June 1 and Phase 3 on June 15.
Among the measures, the project stipulates that the distance between the tables must be 2 meters, tables for a maximum of 8 people, no more than 200 people at the same time in the restaurant, and mandatory sanitary measures for employees.

In this sense, HORA has developed a plan to reopen the restaurants, in three phases, each according to certain rules:

2. sanitation and cleaning
3. Health and hygiene.
