Between 02.04.2021 (10:00) – 03.04.2021 (10:00) 154 deaths were reported (79 men and 75 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Arad, Argeş, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Braşov, Buzău, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Dâmboviţa, Galaţi, Gorj, Harghita, Hunedoara, Ialomiţa, Iaşi, Maramureş, Meşhediuţa, Maramureş, Meşhedinţa, Shedramureş, Meşhedinţa, Shedramureş, Meşaţăhedăhed Ia , Suceava, Timiş, Vaslui, Vâlcea, Vrancea and Bucharest.
Of these, 1 death was recorded in the age category 30 to 39 years, 3 deaths in the age category 40 to 49 years, 14 deaths in the age category 50 to 59 years, 39 deaths in the age category of age 60 to 69 years, 60 deaths in the age group 70 to 79 years and 37 deaths in the category of over 80 years.
148 of the deaths registered were of some patients who presented comorbidities, 4 deceased patients did not present comorbidities and for 2 deceased patients, no comorbidities have been reported to date.
In specialized health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 13,409. Of these, 1,448 are hospitalized in ATI.
To date, 6,800,572 RT-PCR tests and 636,855 rapid antigen tests have been processed nationwide. In the last 24 hours, 26,709 RT-PCR tests were performed (14,218 according to case definition and medical protocol and 12,491 on request) and 10,634 rapid antigen tests.
In Romania, 67,560 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 16,271 people are in institutional isolation. In addition, 48,327 people are in home quarantine and 95 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

2 deceased patients did not present comorbidities.
To date, 7 deceased patients have not been reported.
