The arguments that make Mirel Rădoi continue as Romania coach
It seems that Rădoi also found three strong arguments why he would have decided to continue as Romania manager.
The first argument would be that he does not consider himself a coward and considers that the fight to qualify for the Qatar 2022 World Cup is not completely closed.
Second, Burleanu would like to keep his word and give Rădoi a free hand. When they applauded, the coach asked for time to reform the selection and the head of the Football House agreed. As a consequence, Burleanu keeps betting on Rădoi until there will not even be a mathematical possibility of qualifying, if that point is reached.
The third reason why Rădoi would not want to give up the first national team, claims playsports.ro, is that he wants to be present as Romania’s coach at the Summer Olympics. Adrian Mutu, coach of Romania Under 21, said he will let Rădoi prepare and lead the team for the Tokyo tournament, while he will reserve the role of advisor for him.
