The list of countries that Romania considers to be of high epidemiological risk was updated on Friday night by the National Committee for Emergency Situations. People arriving in Romania from these countries, regions or territories included in the so-called “yellow zone” must be quarantined for 14 days. CNSU has decided to take Great Britain out of the yellow zone, so that those arriving in Romania from this state no longer have to be quarantined.

The CNSU motivates this measure by the persistence of a greater number of infected in the national territory, as well as by the daily appearance of new cases of infected both by the circulation of the virus in the national territory and by its importation with the return. to the infected country, “aspects that generate constant pressure on the management capacity of the administrative-territorial units and the health system”, is shown in the text of the Decision.
