Representatives of the National Committee for the Coordination of Vaccination Activities against COVID-19 (CNCAV) announced this Monday, in a post on Ro Vaccinare’s Facebook page, that the first 46,500 Romanians registered on the waiting lists were scheduled for immunization in the third stage of the campaign.
According to information on the official Facebook page of the national information platform on vaccination against Covid-19, of the total of almost 770,000 Romanians who signed up for the waiting lists, with the start of the third stage of the immunization campaign, the first 46,500 were programmed.
Of the approximately 78,000 people notified by SMS and email, 46,500 were scheduled for vaccination.
People on the waiting list are notified by SMS and email when there are places available in the selected center, it is also shown in the information of the CNCAV. Each person has 24 hours to choose on their computer platform the day and time that they can go to get vaccinated.
The receipt of the appointment will be received by email.
How to register on waiting lists
On the programming platform, both the existing vaccination centers and those that will be operational in April are visible to beneficiaries. Once the available places in the vaccination centers are exhausted, the waiting list is activated.
Notification of people on the waiting list will be made according to the vaccination categories established as priorities, in accordance with the National Vaccination Strategy, and the chronological order of registration, as follows:
• people in category 2a (population at risk), over 65 years of age or with chronic diseases;
• Category 2b persons (workers in essential fields);
• people eligible for the third stage of vaccination (general population).
The beneficiary will have the opportunity to schedule the vaccination, and if there are no places available in the chosen center, they can choose to enroll on the waiting list of that center. Subsequently, vacancies in a particular vaccination center will be available only to those on the open list for that center, subject to prioritization: 75% of the population at risk and 25% of workers in key areas, and in centers where there are vacancies, people from the third stage can be scheduled.
Specifically, each vaccination center will have places for both vulnerable groups and employees in key areas, as well as for the general population, and the order of assignment of vaccination calendars will be carried out according to the degree of occupation of the places by categories listed in the lists of the respective center.
Vaccination appointments can be made both through the electronic platform and by calling the call center number, and the ways to complete the process of scheduling people on the waiting list are as follows:
– For those who opt for individual programming on the electronic platform: when the places are available in the center where the person has registered, the beneficiary receives a notification to this effect, and then enters the application to choose the day and the time slot hourly. The person who does not confirm the available place by appointment within 24 hours of receiving the notification, will receive two more subsequent notifications. In the absence of confirmation within this time, the beneficiary remains on the waiting list, but will lose the position initially held.
– For people who opt for a call center appointment, at the number 021.414.44.25: when a vacancy appears in the vaccination center where they were registered, the vaccination will be scheduled on the day and within the time available for the administration of the vaccine. . These people will be notified and it is not necessary to confirm the appointment.
The person on the waiting list has the opportunity to transfer to the waiting list of another vaccination center.
