BioNTech CEO Ugur Sahin offers some excellent information on the Pfizer vaccine: vaccinated people do not transmit the coronavirus!

Ugur Sahin has good news: the vaccine not only stops the side effects of Covid-19, but vaccinated people no longer transmit the infection. The CEO of BioNTech gave an interview to the German newspaper Bild in which he explains the results of a study carried out in Israel, the country that leads the highest vaccination rates in the world.

According to this study, “the number of people with a positive PCR test and who are therefore potentially contagious is reduced by 92% after vaccination,” explains Sahin.

This means that the vaccine not only protects the person who received the serum, but also prevents transmission, which means that you can get the much-desired immunity, per group or flock.

Furthermore, Ugur Sahin is particularly optimistic about the vaccine because it “protects against most known mutations, including B.1.1.7”, that is, the British version. This is prevalent in Israel, where the study was conducted.

Therefore, Sahin says we can keep the pandemic under control if enough people are vaccinated.
