Dr. Virgil Musta from the Infectious Diseases Hospital “Victor Babeș” in Timișoara sends a strong alarm signal about the development of the Easter holidays this year: “I tell you sincerely, I believe that, now, Easter is exclusively ours responsibility”.
“The system is very crowded. The only thing I can hope is not to be hit by the third wave of the pandemic, one more virulent than the previous ones, since we are talking about the British strain of the virus, much more contagious. And so, the Romanian medical system is already at the upper limit of congestion, there are many cases, hospitals are full and doctors and medical staff are tired.
And the cause of the growth is obvious: the world no longer follows the rules as before, as a year ago, the restrictions are much more flexible. The world is already used to the danger and it is forgotten that this virus brings many serious cases, many deaths, real dramas and extreme suffering ”, Virgil Musta told wowbiz.ro, thinks pensul.ro.

If we want to see our family members, we must fully respect the anti-COVID rules, Musta warned. The doctor also warns that Easter can be spent in the same way as Christmas, to protect us all.
“If we don’t follow the prevention rules and, more importantly, if the vaccination is refused, Easter could be compromised. I tell you the truth, I believe that, now, Easter is exclusively our responsibility. If things go like this, I mean the increase in infections, I’m afraid we won’t have the vacation we want. And this means that Easter will be, like Christmas, one in which the extended family will not be able to see each other, at least to protect themselves, “added Virgil Musta.
