PSD President Marcel Ciolacu on Thursday night accused the Government of administrative inability to organize and manage the pandemic, and pointed out that President Klaus Iohannis should, in this context, have brought together all political forces for a country plan. , informs Agerpres.
“At such a delicate time, not just in our country, around the world, the president’s approach had to be completely different. All the political forces had to come together for a country plan, in the short and medium term, to overcome what we are facing now. We still have an obvious, insurmountable and uncontrolled health crisis, they have an administrative inability to organize and manage this pandemic (…). They have an administrative disability, they are also dumb and dumb. Do not call. What specialists do you have? ”, Affirmed Ciolacu in Antena 3.
At the same time, the PSD leader stated that Prime Minister Florin Cîţu invented “vaccination tourism”.
“Cîţu invented vaccination tourism. People travel hundreds of miles to get vaccinated in hospitals when they have a chronic illness, instead of getting vaccinated at home.
Everything is uncontrollable, change the rules during the game. Teachers ranked 17 out of 19 for the first time. Then Iohannis announced that we were going to open the schools: wait, sir, we have to get them going. And now you say to the teachers: wait for the schools to open, but you can no longer access the platform because it is full. We sat down to watch on television what his biceps, triceps and T-shirts are like and how the great government personalities are. Well, don’t you vaccinate the sprouts first? What are the priorities, the opening of schools and where are the outbreaks? “Ciolacu commented.
Ciolacu: Take political responsibility for your vaccination campaign!
In his opinion, the prime minister should take up this vaccination campaign and resign if 10.4 million Romanians are not vaccinated by September, as he proposed.
“Mr. Cîţu said that by September, 10.4 million Romanians will be vaccinated. If you came and assumed this, you, Mr. Cîţu, will politically take over the vaccination campaign, and in September, if there are not 10.4 million Romanians vaccinated, you will resign. You are prime minister, you are a politician, you are a statesman, start this vaccination campaign. Did you tell the Romanians that in September it will reach 70%? I mean a prime minister who promised certain things. Is it normal to have political responsibility? We are no longer in the electoral campaign, we are in the vaccination campaign launched by a prime minister and a government, ”Ciolacu stressed.
