AUR senator Diana Șoșoacă spoke in an exclusive interview for România TV about her personal life, the position of Romanian senator, but also about the measures imposed by the authorities in the context of the COVID pandemic.
Diana Șoșoacă told how several politicians “forced” her to enter Parliament. The lawyer wanted to point out that people have incredible strength, thanking them for every outing.
“I never waited because I didn’t want to. I was forced by my husband, Colceag, Alexandru Stănila, who forced me and many others. Most of them are men who push me. 2020 was a fight, anyway for 20 years or more. so I continued fighting and I fought in the two and a half years that I was in the Government and I had no one to work with, ”said the lawyer.
“Look, the courts in Europe have been brave, Austria has annulled all the measures against the vacuum. It was a terrible fight, those outings in which politicians told me that they were waiting to take out ten thousand people. People do not know how much force it has and I want to thank everyone who took to the streets ”, explained Diana Șoșoacă.

Diana Șoșoacă also spoke about the vaccination campaign that is being carried out in Romania, affirming that she hopes not to reach mandatory vaccination. But if this happens, according to her, Romanians should go out into the streets. “
“However, I am a senator, I am a man of the Romanian state, I am a senator who must take care of the health of the Romanian people and I hope that we do not reach the mandatory vaccination because then people must go out to the streets. I don’t know if politicians feel it, but Romania is boiling hot. I think they should be much more careful with what they decide because we are there and we have support, “he said.
The lawyer assures that working in Parliament is hard and that is why she sleeps very few hours a night.
“I just sat in Parliament. I left Parliament, went to my office where I have dozens of envelopes and stayed until 3 in the morning. I slept three hours and went back to Parliament where I went to read the legislation on the agenda. I will do my century in Parliament, ”says the senator.
