Israel is the best in the world in terms of the number of people vaccinated against COVID 19, relative to the number of the population. There are more than 640,000 people vaccinated in Israel in less than two weeks.
In terms of doses administered, the United States leads the ranking: so far it has vaccinated more than 2 million people.
In second and third place are China and the United Kingdom.
In the Our World Data list, the surprise comes, in Europe, from Portugal, which ranks first in the number of vaccines administered so far: almost 16,500, a record figure, if we refer to the number of population. Germany ranks next in the rankings, with 78,000 doses, but compared to a much larger population.
Italy and Romania are at the bottom of the ranking, with more than 5,600 vaccinated. It is worth mentioning that the European Union started vaccination a few days ago.
Russia, despite authorizing its Sputnik vaccine in front of everyone, says that just over 50,000 have been vaccinated.
So far, more than 4.8 million people have been vaccinated worldwide.
