The first doses of vaccine against COVID-19 arrive in the country in Vama Nădlac 2, on Friday, Christmas Day, around 12 noon, announces the Strategic Communication Group.
The vaccine arrives in Romania right on the first of European vaccination days, which takes place between December 25 and 27. Actions related to this event will be organized in Bucharest and in all regions of the country, through a series of activities aimed at marking the start of the vaccination campaign against COVID-19 according to Mediafax.
Actions will begin on Friday, December 25, once the first 10,000 doses of COVID-19 vaccines enter the country, through Customs Nădlac 2 (Arad County). The approximate time of entry of the first doses of vaccines is at 12.00.
On Saturday, December 26, the vaccines will arrive at the “Cantacuzino” National Institute for Medical-Military Research-Development, designated the National Storage Center for vaccines against COVID-19. The approximate time of arrival of the vaccines at the Cantacuzino Institute is at 07.00 hours.
Vaccination begins December 27 at the 10 infectious disease hospitals on the front lines in the fight against COVID-19.
The vaccination event at the National Institute of Infectious Diseases “Matei Balş” will begin on Sunday, December 27 at 09.00 hours.
That same day, similar actions will be organized in the other nine first-line infectious disease hospitals in the fight against COVID-19, after 10 a.m.
The events will be broadcast live on all the institutional Facebook pages of the Romanian government.
