Maria Macsim Nicoară was in the care of her sister after being discharged from the hospital, after the family also requested a protection order against her husband. The artist was in extremely serious condition after an accident she had in May, when, under mysterious conditions, she fell from the stairs of her personal home.

The accident resulted in the opening of a criminal case for murder, one of the suspects including the woman’s husband. However, the investigation did not show that the husband could be charged with this charge. After the accident, the artist was hospitalized at the Iaşi Neurosurgery Hospital, where, according to her sister, she also fell ill with Covid-19.

“Yes, it is true, I also had Covid 19. I cannot tell you anything about the bacteria or the nosocomial infection. The hospital will probably send a press release. The truth is that when the tragedy happened, it happened very late, after eight hours” . And this is not the fault of the doctors. We have four pending lawsuits that are going very, very slowly. Until now we have taken care of the health of our sister Marinela, from now on we will take care of her memory but also shed light on this case ”.
