Former Romanian international Deian Boldor (25) rescinded his contract with the Italian team Potenza on Tuesday night and may represent a breakdown solution for CFR champion Cluj.

Who is Deian Boldor?
At age 25, Deian Boldor was considered one of the most talented footballers of his generation, but the subsequent course did not confirm this. He started playing football in Timişoara, at LPS Banatul, then moved to Italy, where he signed for AS Roma, in 2011, at just 16 years old. In the next three seasons he marked presences for all the Romanian youth groups, in which he fit. In addition, he was on the bench for Roma for a Serie A match with Genoa.
In the summer of 2014, Boldor was loaned to Serie B, Pescara, where he would play his first professional matches: one in Serie B and one in the Italian Cup. In 2015, Roma released him from his contract and joined Virtus Lanciano, a Serie B team, and after one season he was bought by Bologna for 200,000 euros. It follows a series of loans to Verona and Montreal Impact, then definitively transferred to Verona, for 100,000 euros, in 2018.
Verona continues to transfer him to Foggia and Partizani Tirana (Albania), and this summer leaves him free of contract. Under this status, a modest formation of the third echelon from Italy also arrives these days in Potenza. Too little for a former Romanian youth international, with appearances in Serie A and Serie B, at just 25 years old.
