A newborn was found abandoned in a bag on a Bucharest street. The baby, a young child, had vital signs and was picked up by SMURD and transported to Marie Curie Hospital.
The discovery was made by a woman in the area of Fizicienilor street in Bucharest, Sector 3. They immediately called the emergency number 112.
„Tonight, by calling 112, the Bucharest Municipality General Police Directorate was notified that in front of a block of flats in sector 3, in a bag, a newborn was found. Police officers from Section 13, as well as a first aid team, rushed to the scene. The boy was taken to the hospital for medical attention. The case was taken up by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court and the Homicide Service of the Capital Police to identify the mother, as well as to establish the factual and legal situation ”, the Police transmits.
The first aid team says it’s a miracle he’s alive, considering the outside temperature.
