“The answer came from DSP that the certificate is NOT validly issued according to order 874/2020, because the certificates that allow the exemption from the use of the mask must be issued by the occupational medicine doctor. Or in your case, it is necessary to obtain a certificate from the occupational medicine doctor in the Senate, who based on the recommendations made by the family doctor and confirmed by a specialist, says that the diseases he has are in the category of oxygenation, ”said Senator Laura-Iuliana Scîntei, president of the Senate Freedom Validation Commission.

As long as there is no such document, issued from the legal point of view regarding the legal competence of such document, that produces effects at the Senate level, the respective medical certificate may not be used to exempt the person from the use of the mask.

“Șoșoacă understood, will go to the Senate Occupational Medicine”

He said that under the new conditions Diana Șoșoacă will have to wear a mask until a valid document is obtained.

“I informed Ms Șoșoacă, presented her point of view, directed her to the Romanian Senate occupational medicine doctor. Until she gets a legal document, issued by the Occupational Medicine Senate, based on the recommendation of the specialist doctor saying that she suffers from a disease that affects her respiratory capacity, the senator must wear a mask in the full Romanian Senate, which she understood. During the validation commission, during the entire validation process, Ms. Șoșoacă wore a mask ” Scînteie added.

Șoșoacă threatens criminal charges for the publication of personal data

In response, the AUR senator made a live on Facebook in which she said she will make criminal complaints to those who published the medical certificate.

“I don’t think they know who they are dating. I was informed that my medical certificate and the address of the validation commission to the DSP were made public, with all my confidential details and my disease codes exposed to the press. At this time, all my rights regarding the confidentiality of identity data and regarding the confidentiality of my health (sic!) have been violated. And I tell you, from now on I will make criminal complaints against both the members of the Senate and the Ministry of Salud, DSPs, as against those in the press who allowed themselves to publish my data without my consent, ”Șoșoacă said.

In addition, Senator AUR wants all the masks of the Romanian Parliament to be checked for compliance.

“I knew something was being prepared, no problem! As long as no one has falsely registered, I, as a consequence of those mentioned in the Senate today, request verification of all the masks of my colleagues in Parliament, if they comply. I have this right under the conditions in which a certificate is challenged without anyone falsely registering against it, “Șoșoacă also said.
