Government Agreement-2020-2024

Statements by the leaders of the ruling coalition

Ludovic Orban: “We are determined to give Romania as soon as possible a competent government, a responsible government, a government determined to reform the great public systems, a government that will implement a government program that will guarantee an increase in the quality of life of all Romanians., increase in public services, infrastructure development, modernization of Romania ”.

Dan Barna: “It is a document of more than 300 pages, which was worked with great care and seriousness by the representatives of the three parties in this coalition and which gives us confidence that we will be able to have a government that will make some important changes in Romania. We try to find those spaces of consensus, those spaces in which the objectives and commitments of each of the three parties find a formula, so that the program is an assumed program, in which we all trust. There are some very important USR PLUS objectives, which they did not find, let’s say, materialize in the government program, but for which we will find parliamentary ways to achieve – everything that is important to us and, I am convinced, to our colleagues. Each one has pieces that were not found in the government program. But this program is the result of a responsible commitment, I would dare to say, for the future of Romania in the coming weeks, months and years. “
