The USR-PLUS alliance obtained, after 3 days of political negotiations with PNL and UDMR, in addition to the portfolios of the future Government, the possibility of appointing the leadership of the central authorities for environmental protection, Romanians everywhere and CNAS, but also the right of government representation in the counties. the country through 42 prefect and subprefect functions.
Thus, USR-PLUS will have 14 prefects and 28 sub-prefects in the country, political sources told Digi24.ro.
Regarding the area of environmental policy implementation, the alliance will have the right to appoint the leadership of the National Environmental Guard, the Administration of the Danube Delta Biosphere Reserve and the National Environmental Protection Agency.
They also obtained the right to appoint a secretary of state to head the government department for Romanians everywhere.
Another last gain from USR-PLUS is the possibility of nominating the secretary of state to head the National House of Health Insurance (CNAS).
USR PLUS hosted six ministries in government negotiations, including Justice, European Funds, Health and Transport, as well as the head of the Prime Minister’s Chancellery.
