The owner of the newspaper “Evenimentul Zilei”, Dan Andronic, sentenced to 3 years in prison with suspension, says that he will no longer have public appearances, but will continue to be a journalist. Andrónico considers that a great injustice has been committed to him and therefore he will attack the sentence in all possible ways.

“I saw the reactions of many of you. I feel like I need to be very clear. When I said that I was retiring, I was referring to public appearances. As much as it depends on how I feel. For now, I see it as a great injustice, I will fight with all legal resources that I have, I will try to show that, as the Brașov Court of Appeals said, I am innocent. I will not do it on TV, nor in the publications I have. I have not written a line about this in the last 5 years, I will not do it now. But I will remain a journalist, no one can take that away from me. Not even the Vertical State, as some monkeys like to say, “writes Dan Andronic.
