President-elect Joe Biden delivered a speech Monday night after the Electoral College respected the popular vote and gave him victory in the November 3 presidential election.

Joe Biden ended his speech with his traditional reference to American soldiers: “God protect our soldiers who defend our democracy,” said the American president-elect.
