Former PSD Secretary General Codrin Ștefănescu says Liviu Dragnea called him – he confirmed with COVID-19 – and asked him to tell everyone that his health did not get worse.
- At last! I spoke to Liviu Dragnea! He called me from the Jilava prison hospital, the ward for infected with the virus, where he was transferred a few days ago! He asked me to tell everyone that his condition had not worsened. At least until today! He assured me that he will go through this new test and that he will fight for his life! I will keep you updated constantly! ”Codrin Ștefănescu, a close friend of the former PSD leader, wrote on Facebook.
Liviu Dragnea was confirmed with COVID-19, being transferred from the Rahova Penitentiary to the Jilava Penitentiary Hospital.
Dragnea has been in prison since May 27, 2019, when he was definitively sentenced by the Supreme Court to 3 years and 6 months in prison with execution, for incitement to abuse of office, in the case of fictitious employment at DGASPC Teleorman.
