The authorities affirm that after the zonal quarantine decided in several localities of the country, the evolution of the accumulated incidence in the target areas, in the last 14 days, per 1000 inhabitants, decreased, which, in their opinion, is the measure more effective, if taken. at the time.

The quarantine decision is made not only on the basis of the incidence of the cases, but on the basis of other criteria. The analysis is carried out by DSP, it is proposed with the approval of the INSP to the County Committee for Emergency Situations and later the order is issued by the head of DSU.

Nationwide, 25 localities are now under quarantine, of which 14 are in Constanța County, 8 in Ilfov County and one, respectively, in Alba, Ialomița and Iași Counties.

The department headed by Raed Arafat thus emphasizes the importance of the timely adoption of additional measures to protect communities in areas where the epidemiological risk was significant. The zonal quarantine and compliance by citizens are the most effective steps in managing the difficult existing health situation, DSU said in a statement saying that in quarantined areas the incidence accumulated in the last 14 days per thousand inhabitants has decreased by more than 50% initial value.

Evolution of the incidence rate in quarantined localities

So in Sibiu County, for example, on the date of establishment of quarantine (11/16/2020) in the city of Sibiu there was an incidence of 13.43 per thousand inhabitants, and on 12/13/2020, the incidence value decreased to 4.86 Per thousand inhabitants.

In the city of Tălmaciu, at the quarantine date (11/16/2020) there was an incidence of 10.33 per thousand inhabitants, and on 12/13/2020 there was a decrease to 2.04 per thousand inhabitants. It is worth mentioning that in the case of this region it was necessary to extend the quarantine period, which expires today, 12/14/2020.

Another town in the county of Sibiu with a considerable decrease in incidence is also the municipality of Mediaș, which on the date of establishment of the quarantine (11/23/2020) registered an incidence of 9.23 per thousand inhabitants, and on 12/13/2020 stands out a value of 4.08 per thousand inhabitants.

At Sălaj County, on the date of establishment of the quarantine (05.11.2020), the municipality of Zalău registered an incidence of 9.96 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (03.12.2020) the value of this indicator was 3.52 per thousand inhabitants.

Another town in Sălaj County with a considerable decrease in incidence is also the town of Jibou, which at the quarantine date (05.11.2020) registered an incidence of 9.14 per thousand inhabitants, and at the cessation date (03.12 .2020) a value of 2.8 per thousand inhabitants.

At Iasi District, on the date of establishment of the quarantine (11/29/2020), the commune of Ciurea registered an incidence value of 8.67 per thousand inhabitants, and to the current date the incidence decreased to 5.52 per thousand inhabitants.

At Arad County, On the date of establishment of the quarantine (11/25/2020), the city of Ineu registered an incidence value of 9.52 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (12.9.2020), 4.97 per thousand inhabitants.

Bihor County: On the date of establishment of the quarantine (02.12.2020), the city of Nucet registered an incidence value of 6.55 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (9.12.2020), 2.87 per thousand inhabitants.

Bistrița-Năsăud County: On the date of establishment of the quarantine (11/19/2020), the municipality of Bistrița registered 8.18 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (3.112.2020), 4.98 per thousand inhabitants.

Maramures County: On the date of establishment of the quarantine (11.11.2020), the municipality of Baia Mare registered a value of 7.21 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (02.12.2020) the incidence decreased to 3.97 per thousand inhabitants .

Cluj County: on the date of establishment of the quarantine (05.11.20200, the town of Gherla registered an incidence of 9.30 per thousand inhabitants, and on the date of departure (03.12.2020), 4.69 per thousand inhabitants.
