The matches of the eighth day of the Champions League will be played during February 16-17 / February 23-24 (tour) – March 9-10 / March 16-17 (return), from 22:00 hours. The group winners will play at home in the second round.

The 16 qualified formations were divided into two polls. The leaders of the series are the bands that won the group to which they belonged. They will have the advantage of playing the second leg at home in the round of 16.
- Ballot box 1 (first place in groups): Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, Manchester City, Liverpool, Chelsea, Borussia Dortmund, Juventus, PSG
- Second ballot box (second place in groups): Atlético de Madrid, Borussia Monchengladbach, Porto, Atalanta, Seville, Lazio, Barcelona, Leipzig
The teams that finished first in the groups are leaders and will face the teams that finished second. Thus, we can have duels like Bavaria – Barcelona, Manchester City – Atlético de Madrid or Juventus – Leipzig.
Teams from the same country will not be able to meet in the round of 16, nor will teams that played in the same group in the Champions League.
