George Simion was a supporter of Steaua
George Simion is a founding member of the ultras groups Honor et Patria and Uniți Sub Tricolor, but also the leader of the surprise party, AUR (Alliance for the Union of Romanians), which obtained 8.6% of Romanian votes and entered in parliament.
George Simion is a former ultras who has distinguished himself by controversial actions over the years. According to him, he was a Steaua fan almost 20 years ago.
A new term for Steaua’s record fight
A few days ago, the CSA Steaua club lawyer, Florin Talpan, lost one of the many fights with Gigi Becali, after requesting the recusal of the full court in the process related to the history of Steaua.
The Bucharest Court of Appeal postponed the decision in the Steaua record trial case to February 15, 2021.
According to the decision of the Bucharest Court of July 2019, CSA Steaua holds the most valuable trophy, the European Cup won in 1986, after a final with FC Barcelona.
