President Klaus Iohannis begins consultations with the parties on Monday for the appointment of the new prime minister after the elections. PNL, USR-PLUS and UDMR have not reached an agreement and go to Iohannis with separate proposals. The Liberals propose Florin Cîțu and USR-PLUS Dacian Cioloș. PSD will propose Alexandru Rafila. AUR says it has several candidates, including Călin Georgescu.

11:00 – Social Democratic Party (PSD) – Marcel Ciolacu, Paul Stănescu, Gabriela Firea, Sorin Grindeanu and Vasile Dâncu.

12:00 – National Liberal Party (PNL) – Ludovic Orban, Florin Cîţu, Raluca Turcan, Rareş Bogdan, Robert Sighiartău and Iulian Dumitrescu

13:00 – USR-PLUS Alliance – Dan Barna, Dacian Cioloș, Dragoș Tudorache, Cătălin Drulă, Cosette Chichirău.
