George Simion reacts after the publication in the Gândul newspaper of some photos and an article about a meeting he allegedly had with the president of the PSD, Marcel Ciolacu and the head of the PSD National Council, Vasile Dîncu. And he claims that he only saw Dîncu, not Ciolacu.

“Yes, I had meetings with the leaders of PSD and PNL. I did not meet with Mr. Ciolacu, I am waiting to see him too, I had discussions of knowledge with both parties. We reiterate that AUR will not enter any government coalition, nor with PNL, neither with PSD, nor with any of the current parties, but we have proposals for future governments, for the leadership of the two Houses and we will follow the interest of the AUR voters in discussions with all political parties, because that is what I said, even if we do not join any government coalition, we will discuss every article, every law, every public office, “George Simion told Libertatea.

He refused to specify who were the NLP leaders he spoke with, because he did not have their agreement and offered only a detail of the meeting with Vasile Dîncu: “He showed me the survey after the elections and we are 13% without the diaspora” .

Vasile Dîncu: We don’t talk about support because we wouldn’t have enough anyway

Contacted by Libertatea, Vasile Dîncu rejected the scene of some discussions with Simion related to an alliance.

“It has nothing to do with inquiries. Simion saw on Digi on Friday’s show with Pândaru (Claudiu Pândaru, journalist Digi 24, ed.) That we talked about an IRES study in which I asked questions about GOLD. We did not talk about support because it would not reach us anyway. I cannot even work on the modernization of the PSD structure and brand in coalition with AUR. It would be a futile sacrifice if a government coalition cannot even be formed, “says Dîncu.

He explained that Marcel Ciolacu did not attend the meeting: “Ciolacu came to see me later to see some ballot boxes and discuss Monday’s meeting (consultations in Cotroceni, ed.). There was no negotiation, ”added Vasile Dîncu.

Libertatea also tried to contact Marcel Ciolacu and Vasile Dîncu. As of the time of publication of this article, the two PSD leaders did not respond.
