The Central Electoral Table presented, on Saturday, the final results of the parliamentary elections of December 6, 2020, after resolving the appeals. According to the BEC, the mandate assignment procedure will take place in the coming days.

So in senate, PSD obtained 1,732,289 votes (29.32%), PNL – 1,511,227 votes (25.58%) and the USR PLUS Alliance received 936,864 votes (15.86%).

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) obtained 541,938 votes (9.17%) and the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) – 348,262 votes (5.89%).

The other parties did not cross the electoral threshold of 5% (PMP obtained 4.93%, Pro Romania – 4.13%).

5,908,364 valid votes were cast for the Senate.

The The Chamber of Deputies, PSD obtained 1,705,786 votes (28.90%), PNL – 1,486,402 votes (25.18%) and the USR PLUS Alliance – 906,965 votes (15.37%).

The Alliance for the Union of Romanians (AUR) obtained 535,831 votes (9.08%) and the Hungarian Democratic Union of Romania (UDMR) – 339,030 votes (5.74%).

The other parties did not cross the electoral threshold of 5% (PMP obtained 4.82%, Pro Romania – 4.09%).

For the Chamber of Deputies, 5,901,959 valid votes were registered.

According to the BEC, the total number of voters who went to the polls was 6,059,113.
