A chemistry teacher at Alexandru Ghica High School in Alexandria is accused of offending a student, whom he addressed as an “idiot” during an online class.
The secondary school management claims that the teacher has been a teacher at the Alexandria school for 15 years, during which time there were no complaints against him.

The director of Alexandru Ghica Theoretical High School in Alexandria, Silvia Păun, told News.ro that she is not aware of this incident and did not receive any notification about the teacher’s behavior.
Silvia Păun confirmed that the registered teacher has been working at Alexandria High School since 2005.
“I have never complained that he would offend anyone who spoke vulgarly with children. He is a teacher who keeps his classes conscientiously, there have been no complaints about him,” says the principal.
The director of the high school specified that an investigation will be opened at the school level “let’s see what happened there.”

The teacher, who has 38 years of experience in education, obtained 87.5 points in the contest to award the note of merit this year, with the highest score being 142.5.
