Get back to CFR Cluj! Dan Petrescu delivered the football champion in Gruia, Edi Iordănescu brings him back: the play is ready

CFR Cluj is in a difficult time of the season, from the point of view of the group, but also of the program. Edi Iordănescu will have to do without some important players, but Gruia’s new manager also receives good news. Mihai Butean (24 years old) is ready to return, unlike Alexandru Paşcanu (22 years old).

CFR Cluj’s new coach, Edi Iordănescu, “inherited” the problems Dan Petrescu complained about. The former coach’s son has a stage with many games at CFR Cluj, and on Thursday night, starting at 19:55, he will play for the Europa League group standings. The Romanian champion plays in Switzerland, with Young Boys, in a match broadcast on Telekom Sport 1.

Mihai Butean, ready to return to CFR Cluj! Alexandru Paşcanu refuses to return

Dan Petrescu struggled to defend after injuring Vinicius and Mike Cestor. “Bursucul” improvised with Cristian Manea as central defender, while Mateo Susic was used as right defender. However, the champion could have trusted Mihai Butean.

At the beginning of this season, Dan Petrescu loaned Mihai Butean, after the right-back won the title with CFR Cluj. The former under-21 international caught several minutes at Gaz Metan, and now admitted that he would like to return to Gruia, being loaned only to the Mediaş team:

“If I need CFR, I will gladly return. I am their player, I still have a contract there, but while I am in Sox (no – Gaz Metan), I think in Sox.”Mihai Butean said.

Unlike Mihai Butean, Alexandru Paşcanu admitted that he would not want to return to League 1. This season CFR Cluj loaned the former Leicester U23 player to SD Ponferradina.

Mihai Butean is on loan at Gaz Metan until the summer of next year, and still has a contract with CFR Cluj until 2024.

Mihai Butean could come to Dinamo! The businessman revealed the details

Dinamo could have had Mihai Butean and Sergiu Buş, the FCSB forward, in the group, as manager Bogdan Apostu admitted. The agent spoke with former Dinamo official Bogdan Bălănescu, but the footballers’ transfers ultimately failed:

“We had talked about bringing Sergiu Buş and Mihai Butean, it wouldn’t have been a problem. Bogdan wanted him too, everyone wanted him, only the transfer didn’t materialize, not for us”, Bogdan Apostul told Metropola TV, quoted by Doarromania.ro.

Lately, CFR Cluj could rely, on defense, only on Andrei Burcă, Denis Ciobotariu, Ivica Zunic, Camora, Iasmin Latovlevici, Cristi Manea and Mateo Susic. Ivica Zunic also caught the first matches at CFR Cluj, but the champion did not have a chance to feature him on the UEFA list.

Mike Cestor, Ben Youssef and Vinicius were unavailable.
