The PNL leaders decided, at the BPN meeting on Wednesday night, to support the party president, Ludovic Orban, for the position of president of the Chamber of Deputies in the negotiations that will follow with USR PLUS and UDMR.
The leadership of the Chamber of Deputies is also claimed by USR PLUS, who wants his position for the co-chairman of the party, Dan Barna, who is also a deputy.
Asked if he would agree that in Parliament, Ludovic Orban is the president of the Chamber of Deputies and that USR-PLUS receives the leadership of the Senate, Dan Barna said that there were no discussions, but the presidency of the House by USR- PLUS is a solution President Klaus Iohannis will appoint NLP Prime Minister.
It is also a solution for USR PLUS to assume the presidency of the Chamber of Deputies.
