NLP wants everything, we get leftovers

Official negotiations between the parties for the division of functions in the government have not yet begun, because tempers between USR PLUS and PNL are already heating up. After the first vice president of the NLP, Rareș Bogdan, declared that in the future government of the NLP will have between 10 and 11 ministries, the vice president of USR, Cătălin Drulă, reacts and says that “the discussions about the ministries are pure fantasies”.

Cătălin Drulă is unhappy with the discussions that have arisen in the public space about the division of ministries in the future government. The vice president of the USR wrote several messages on Facebook in which he criticized the press for publishing information published in sources, some even from his own party, about the interest of the USR-PLUS in some ministries.

“I read various forms of government in the news. I repeat what I said yesterday: There have been NO discussions between USRPLUS and PNL, neither formal nor informal about the ministries and the formation of the majority,” writes Cătălin Drulă.

He criticizes the NLP leaders who spoke publicly about the division of ministries.

“All discussions about ministries are pure fantasy. They have not happened yet. We believe that it is important that these negotiations are conducted with loyalty, not on television,” writes the vice president of USR.

And USR-PLUS co-chair Dacian Cioloș says, in a post on Facebook, that “most of the information” that appeared in public space “is the result of backstage games in which various parties or people have a direct interest “.

The first vice president of PNL, Rareș Bogdan, announced that, most likely, in the future government of PNL will have 10-11 ministries, USR PLUS – 5-6 ministries and UDMR – 2 ministries.

USR PLUS is already unhappy with the possibility of major ministries returning to NLP, and USR PLUS of receiving weightless ministries.

“The NLP wants everything, we get the leftovers,” USR deputy Cristian Seidler told Antena 3.

Until Tuesday, USR PLUS leaders expressed their disagreement with the division of several key positions to be negotiated. USR PLUS wants ministries like Justice, Finance, Transportation or Development, which liberals are not willing to give up.

Additionally, USR PLUS would like to receive House of Representatives leadership from Dan Barna, a position that Ludovic Orban also wants.

Negotiations between PNL, USR PLUS and UDMR were likely to take place later this week.
