The Central Electoral Table agreed, this Tuesday, to count the votes in sections 455, 479 and 526 of Sector 3 of the Capital, reports Agerpres.
The BEC’s decision was made at the request of the Sector 3 Electoral Office.
On Monday, the Bucharest district election office no. 42 declined to the Central Electoral Office the competence to resolve the requests for the counting of votes expressed in articles 455, 479 and 526 of Sector 3 formulated by the Electoral Office of this sector.
The Sector 3 Elections Office requested that the ballot papers used for the counting of votes for the Senate minutes in Section 479 be opened, as “there are reasonable doubts about the number of valid votes cast for the USR PLUS Alliance as after a holographic correction, a doubt that cannot be clarified through correlations within minutes ”.
The opening of the bags containing the ballots used to count the votes was requested in article 526 because “the correlations related to the act cannot be clarified by the operations carried out by the electoral office”, and in the case of article 455 “The ballots are missing in the related files, null and void, and these are wrongly deposited in the validly issued ballot boxes.
The Central Electoral Office approved, through Decision 118, the request to count the votes in these sections, establishing that the operations will be carried out by the Electoral Office of Sector 3, and the necessary corrections will be made in the minutes regarding the registration of the results of voting, based on the decision. the electoral office, by its president, entering the correct values, signing the law of corrections and applying the stamp of the electoral office.
