Mirel Rădoi: “Our opinion is that they are good players, blocked by mentality”
Fotbal Club’s show director Radu Naum reminded Rădoi of the statement in which he said he will leave the national team after two years if he fails to qualify for the World Cup. Despite the dubious results of the last period, the manager is determined to do everything possible to qualify the Romanian team for the first World Championship after 24 years.
“I’m not leaving. After two years, we can qualify for the World Championship. We do not want to increase the value of the players at this time, we want to work the mentality. We believe that by creating an optimal mindset, results can be achieved much faster than increasing the value of the players.
We, in the national team, cannot increase its value, that is what the clubs take care of. Our opinion is that they are good players, blocked by mentality. We will find solutions to unlock them. We don’t have them, but we take them step by step. From one game to another, we have various things we work on, on the unit, on the group, team building exercises.“Said also Mirel Rădoi.
