Dacian Ciolos, co-leader of USR-Plus, hinted that he did not want Prime Minister Ludovic Orban in a possible governing coalition that would include PNL, USR-Plus and UDMR.

“The voters gave an answer about Ludovic Orban. Look at the results, “Cioloş stated on Digi24 television station.

It calls on the President of Romania to come up with a proposal for a prime minister that gives hope and can unite all these parties.

“The ball is in the court of Klaus Iohannis.”

The NLP lost the elections with only 25% of the vote, compared to the PSD which won 29%. USR Plus has 15% and UDMR 6%.

AUR is the surprise party in these elections, in which it won 9%, and it is possible that the PMP, Băsescu’s party, will not reach the electoral threshold, according to the latest information.

Cioloş was Prime Minister of Romania in 2015-2016, in a technocratic government supported by the PNL and in which Vasile Dîncu of the PSD was Deputy Prime Minister.

Before the elections, USR-Plus declared that it would not want Ludovic Orban as prime minister.

Cioloş mentioned on Monday that “Ludovic Orban is not the man Romania should continue to revolve around.”

President Iohannis will make remarks at 6 p.m.
