Alexandru Rafila, PSD candidate for the Chamber of Deputies, says he did not argue with the party’s president, Marcel Ciolacu, about the possibility of being proposed prime minister.
“I did not speak with Mr. Ciolacu, I was surprised by his proposal, but I understand that it was not the only proposal, there were several proposals for this position. I am glad that Mr. President Ciolacu has also thought of me, but to respond to such a proposal you have to think very seriously, because it is a question of responsibility in the first place and in the second place it has to happen ”, Rafila told Realitatea Plus, according to Agerpres.
Alexandru Rafila added that if he were prime minister, he would choose a team of ministers “who can respond to the current situation.”
Obviously, the current government has only partially managed to manage this pandemic, and the medical measures, although there was expert advice, have not been implemented and the public health system, which could stop transmission, on the one hand, and the antiquated system of Health, on the other, must respond quickly to the requirements of this pandemic. On the other hand, and obviously only if we solve this medical problem, we can then think very seriously about restarting the economy and, of course, a social life as close to reality as possible, because there were certain decisions that I did not have. I found an explanation, like the closing of schools, ”he added.
