Following the completion of the voting process for the 2020 parliamentary elections, the decision was made in Sibiu.
The CJSU met on Sunday at 10 p.m. and decided to extend the quarantine for the municipalities of Sibiu and Mediaș, for the cities of Cisnădie, Tălmaciu and Avrig, for the commune of Orlat and the town of Șelimbăr for another 7 days.
”7 decisions were approved regarding the request to the National Center for Intervention Coordination and Management for the issuance of the Action Commander’s Order for the extension for 7 days, as of 12/07/2020 at 05:00, zonal quarantine measure in the Municipality. Sibiu, town of Șelimbăr, town of Cisnădie, town of Tălmaciu, town of Mediaș, town of Avrig and town of Orlat ”, transmitted Andreea Ștefan, spokesperson for the Sibiu prefecture, according to Mediafax.
The CJSU made the decision to extend the quarantine one hour after the polls closed. The towns of Sibiu, Cisnădie, Tălmaciu and Șelimbăr have been under quarantine since November 16, and Mediaș, Orlat and Avrig, since November 23.
