The leader of the PNL declared that the party to which he belongs will give up the prime minister and build a coalition that will build Romania in the next four years. Rareș Bogdan specified that PNL will accompany Ludovic Orban as Prime Minister in the negotiations for the formation of the future Government.
“We will not accept a prime minister from another political party. There is only one name: Ludovic Orban,” Rareș Bogdan said. It is a statement that came in response to the warning from USR-Plus, the alliance announcing that it does not want Ludovic Orban as prime minister.

USR-Plus refuses to negotiate with PSD
USR – PLUS leader Dacian Cioloș announced that the alliance he represents will not negotiate the formation of a government with the PSD, but with the reformist parties.
“We will have a solid team of deputies and senators, a double number, thanks to your vote. Given the data we have, it will be clear that the Romanians did not give any clear mandate to a party to form a government. We consider that we have received a very clear mandate from the Romanians. Due to the pandemic, Romania needs reforms, we must build on a clean foundation and this is the mandate with which USR PLUS goes to parliament and will negotiate entry into government. We will not abdicate our requests, “said Dacian Cioloș.
According to him, USR PLUS will assume the government, according to the political program and the 40 commitments made.
“USR PLUS is ready to negotiate with the parties that want to make a good government. We will not negotiate with PSD, but with reformist political forces. We are entering a mature political phase for USR PLUS and it will assume with maturity the mandate it received in PLUS”, Dacian Cioloș said.
