Parliamentary elections of 2020. Turnout, until 18:00, much lower than in 2016. Only 27.92% of Romanians went to the polls. Which counties are leaders

In 2016, also at 6:00 p.m., the presence was 34.39%.

Turnout is much lower in these elections than four years ago. In December 2016, at 5:00 p.m. attendance was 30.75%

More than 4 million Romanians went out to vote in the first nine hours. The polls close at 9:00 p.m.

TO UPDATE The participation at the national level at 3:00 p.m. is 16.77%. The top counties at 2pm are Mehedinti (27.62%), Olt (24.43%) and Teleorman (24.13%). A total of almost 3.2 million people went to the polls.

In 2016, participation at 3:00 p.m. was 23.67%.

In the diaspora, on the first voting day for Romanians abroad, 64,705 voters were registered in polling stations opened abroad, in addition to 21,329 voters who chose to vote by mail.

Turnout in the 2019 presidential elections was 47.66% in the first round, and in this year’s elections it was 46%.
