Between 04.12.2020 (10:00) – 05.12.2020 (10:00) 134 deaths were reported (79 men and 55 women), of some patients infected with the new coronavirus, hospitalized in Alba, Argeş, Arad, Bacău, Bihor, Bistriţa-Năsăud, Botoşani, Brăila, Braşov, Călăraşi, Caraş-Severin, Cluj, Constanţa, Covasna, Dâmboviţa, Dolj, Galaţi, Giurgi, Gorj, Harghita, Iaşi, Maramureş, Prathediu, Săcea, Maramureş, Prathediu, Satibiu Suăva, Săcea, Săcea Teleorman, Timiş, Tulcea, Vaslui and Vrancea.

All deaths were in patients with comorbidities.

In health units, the total number of people hospitalized for COVID-19 is 12,472. Of these, 1,280 are hospitalized in ATI.
Number of COVID-19 tests performed nationwide
To date, 4,237,925 tests have been processed nationwide. Of these, 32,441 were carried out in the last 24 hours:
- 20,672 according to the case definition and medical protocol
- 11,679 on request
