“From the information I have, the two vaccines that are based on messenger RNA technology will be authorized by the end of the year, specifically on December 25 the Pfizer vaccine and on December 27 the Modern After vaccine from the European Agency for Medicines – The EMA will authorize the vaccine, it may reach the EU member states.
However, the Pfizer vaccine will probably be available in the first stage, because there is already a signed contract for the states of the European Union. The Moderna vaccine, which has the advantage of facilitating handling and storage conditions, will probably only arrive in the European Union next year, because it is initially reserved for the US market ”, explains Alexandru Rafila, informs the Republic.
Rafila explained that the first doses could reach Romania in January.
“Probably the first quantities will be able to reach Romania at the beginning of January next year,” added Rafila.
