The candidates for the parliamentary elections present in the electoral debate in the Digi24 study were asked if they would be vaccinated against Covid-19. The answers given by Eugen Tomac (PMP), Robert Sighiartău (PNL), Victor Ponta (Pro Romania), Alexandru Rafila (PSD) and Tanczos Barna (UDMR) were affirmative, but Dacian Cioloș (USR-PLUS) hesitated. As a result, Victor Ponta replied: “I say ask Gregorian Bivolaru if he agrees.”
Cosmin Prelipceanu, Digi24 journalist: Will you get your COVID vaccine?
Eugen Tomac: Definitely. I can’t wait for the vaccine to arrive in the country. I strongly believe in this vaccine. It will be a safe vaccine.
Robert Sighiartău: Yes, I will use this treatment, even if I am not in the risk category, but to protect.
Victor Ponta: Yes, my family and I, but only after the vulnerable people are vaccinated first, not the politicians first. It does not have to be mandatory, it is important to explain it to the population.
Alexandru Rafila. Obvious. But only after the authorization of the European Agency and all the side effects will be explained well to the population. They will not replace prevention.
Tanczos Barna: I am in favor of vaccination in general. We need to trust the scientists. We need clear and detailed information about the people to be vaccinated and the risks that will arise.
Dacian Cioloș: I will make the decision after all pertinent information is submitted by competent persons, so that we do not feed conspiracy theories.
Victor Ponta: I tell you to ask Gregorian Bivolaru if he agrees with the vaccination.
Dacian Cioloș: Ask him. I see you know more than I do.
