Since December 1, the spirit of the winter holidays has taken hold of several cities in the country. Thousands of lights lined entire streets and towering fir trees guard the central areas in anticipation of Christmas.
The people who came to take the first photos put caution and the distance rule aside.
In Iași, in the hands of a boy only two years old, he had the power to dress the city in a festive outfit.
Dad: We came to see the lights.
Journalist: Will you tell the child, when he grows up, that he turned on the lights in a special year?
Father: Of course, how not?
The pedestrian zone, bathed in colored lights, immediately came to life. People, curious, left their houses and competed in photos for social networks.
The whole story can be immortalized until next year, including January 24.
And in Târgu Jiu it was a special evening. The lights were turned on by a semi-paralyzed young woman from birth who had never been to the city center to admire the Christmas installations.
Alexandra Ciobanu: It was a very pleasant surprise for me and an immense honor that I didn’t think I was going to experience, I don’t think I can describe the feeling in words.
Journalist: What do you think the center was like?
Alexandra Ciobanu: It is a magical atmosphere, I did not imagine it would look so beautiful.
Hundreds of people wanted to see the famous fir valued at more than 100,000 euros, bought in 2016. In the last three years it has been replaced by a natural tree.
Local: It’s fantastic, I like it.
Journalist: Is it worth the money?
Local: I think so.
Local: “100,000, it’s beautiful. Do you have 100,000 light bulbs?”
Local: “A huge investment for this city, better a natural fir if they put it. That’s Christmas, with a natural, green, beautiful fir.”
People can enjoy this Christmas tree for more than a month from now.
In Ploieşti, the head of the Intensive Care Unit of the County Hospital brought joy at the push of a button. Because there were many who waited for the millions of light bulbs that flood the city to turn on.
Local: “I really liked this big Christmas tree, the colors were not the same as last year and this landscape is very beautiful.”
Beyond the joy of these days, doctors advise us not to forget to take care of ourselves and our loved ones.
Gabriela Nacu, Primary Care Physician at ATI: “People should not forget that it is not just any year, do not forget that it is not a year to have gone through these difficult times. It is worth making a sacrifice a year to have loved ones with us many years before. “
In addition, the streets were guarded by policemen and gendarmes, who tried to persuade people to keep physical distance and wear masks.
