Television director Víctor Ciutacu told Romania Live TV how he got infected with Covid-19 and how the virus changed his life. Ciutacu said he contracted the virus despite the precautions he took.
“I feel very decent for the stage of the disease that I am going through. Fortunately, the symptoms were not acute, we did not go through a stage of the disease that required hospitalization or more complex treatment. I could say that I am fine, given that there are so many hundreds of thousands of people who fight against this disease, I can say that I am the favorite of fate. Well, it is not a pleasure, but this is life, if you let me go through this story, although I am extremely cautious, I will take them all on my feet “I have not finished my calculations with life yet, so you will not get rid of me so soon. And I was extremely cautious, proof, the fact that none of the people who worked with me tested positive,” explained the journalist.

Ciutacu says that the first signs of the disease were felt even before he lived.
“On Tuesday night at 8:30 p.m., at 9:00 p.m. we went live, I was excited. I took two pills, I came to record the presentation of the show’s themes, the pills took effect relatively quickly, I got into the shake of the show, I did not take anything for two hours, I went home, had something to eat, and around 1.00 of the night I took the emotion again. I took more pills, went to bed and sweated four T-shirts until morning, made bed and the next day. I was 35.1 years old, I said, going to work. But I felt my temperature rise and said to take it one more time. And it was that fateful 37.3. I called a private clinic, which does the tests at home, they came, they did the test, they did all the tests and the next day the results came in an envelope: I was positive, my wife was negative, ”said Ciutacu.
Ciutacu explains that he contracted a mild form of the virus and carries the disease in his feet. However, he had to isolate himself in a room so as not to infect his wife.

“I am not collapsed and to the surprise of all the doctors I still smell and taste. My wife manipulated me, took care of me, tries to stay as far away from me as possible. We have separate bedrooms, fortunately our daughter went to school and occupied the children’s bedroom, and I continued to be the owner of the conjugal home. We meet as little as possible at home and as far away as possible ”, added Ciutacu.
The television producer explained that he was impressed by the wave of solidarity and by the people who offered to help him with the necessary things.
“I have many words of praise for the huge wave of solidarity. I didn’t think there could be so many people who could move so fast and not just give up, but do it. For me, a real pilgrimage was at the door for two days, people telling me that they sent me things, from food, to medicines, water and everything I could imagine without being asked and without asking them in advance. They notified me when the messengers were on their way.
