Boxing legends Mike Tyson (54) and Roy Jones Jr. (51) will fight in a demo match with a unique set of rules. The two of them will not wear helmets, but will have gloves much larger than the usual boxing gloves. If one of the boxers cuts himself, the fight is over.
The two weighed in on Friday night and Tyson weighed 4.7kg more than his opponent. Roy Jones weighs 95.2 kg and Mike 99.9 kg. That means Tyson is easier than he was in the title fight against Trevor Berbick.
Former world champion Roy Jones is somewhat over the weight limit, but this is not surprising considering he started his career in the middle class.
According to the official scale, the youngest heavyweight champion made statements to fight Jones, a few days ago, Tyson was filmed eating a chocolate cake in the shape of his opponent’s head.
“If I run, I will always do it to him. They will beat him and I will do anything for me.” Tyson said.
