Cristian Adomniţei writes on Facebook that “after long and hard suffering, justice has died”, thus reacting to the Iaşi Court’s decision this week in which he was sentenced to three years and two months in prison with execution in a case of corruption. .

“For 5 years I respected everything you asked for. I did not give credit to everyone who told me that, in everything he does, he expresses a point of view too clear, I did not ask for the case to be relocated, I did not deny it. Although His lack of curiosity about my guilt or innocence has been evident since he rejected my request to be examined with the polygraph, his tolerance for the participation of SRI in my case has been evident since He stated that he will rule on the merits of the request for the lawyers to exclude the interceptions of the SRI, being obvious that, with the merits, the interceptions of the case could not be physically withdrawn, as requested by the Constitutional Court and the Superior Court of Cassation and Justice, although it challenged any appearance of respect for the principle arms equality, when he accepted only the truncated and out of context SRI interceptions used by DNA, not the SRI ones, which showed that his whistleblower was informing my opponents p oliticos, in consulting you on future steps as far as I am concerned, I have granted you the presumption of innocence. Although, for me, it was not a duty of service, “she wrote to Adomniţa on her Facebook page.

The former president of the Iaşi City Council also said that he never feared justice because he considered himself innocent and that he only went to the polygraph to bring proof of innocence to court.

“I thought you read what is written in the law books, that the polygraph can give false positive results, not false negatives, and that in situations where a person defends their innocence from the beginning and passes the polygraph test, the courts must give the polygraph the value of a means of proof. And that it will not commit itself to convicting an evidently innocent man. In a state governed by the rule of law, judgments, good or bad, must be respected. I will respect, no matter the situation: I am a worthy man, I was born free and I will die free, regardless of the fields you prescribe for me. I understand that the food of the detainees is better now than in Sighet. In a justice that transits from the disgusting and politically repressive, from the old regime, to that of the rule of law, in a justice in which ladies in blue shoes began to tread, elegant, discreet, I wonder if only chance put me in front of a Russian rubber boot. to safety boot ”, adds Cristian Adomniţei.

Former Iasi County Council Chief Cristian Adomniţei was sentenced on Friday to three years and two months in prison with execution in the album file, which pointed to some irregularities in connection with a contract the Iasi County Council entered into with a company to promote the county.

The decision was made by the Iaşi Court and is not final.

The Iași magistrates sentenced the former head of the Iaşi Provincial Council, Cristian Adomniţei, to three years and two months in prison with execution, three other people were sentenced in the same case to prison terms of four years to four months and four years and seven months. .

Thus, Teodora Jinga and Carmen Irimescu, both CJ officials, were sentenced to four years and four months in prison each, while Letiţia Popa, the company’s administrator, will remain behind bars for four years and seven months.

Cristian Adomnitei was accused by DNA prosecutors of favoring the author and a false intellectual in a case for irregularities in relation to a partnership with a private company that was aimed at promoting the county.

According to DNA, in 2013, the Iaşi County Council awarded Laser Co a contract for printing services for promotional materials in Iasi County based on false documents prepared by Letiţia Popa, the administrator of Laser Co.

Prosecutors stated that in order for this contract to be awarded to the company it manages, Letiţia Popa drew up and used false documents to give the appearance that it met the admissibility and compliance criteria of the offer, and then presented all these documents to the recruitment, the Iaşi City Council.

Popa thus intentionally determined that the members of the bid evaluation commission awarded the contract to his company, under the conditions in which the bid should have been rejected, due to non-compliance with the minimum requirements of the tender specifications.

DNA specified that Popa’s company did not respect the contract, not delivering a series of objects, whose value exceeded 213,000 lei.

So that Letiţia Popa can collect, illegally, the payment of these goods that she had not delivered and, at the same time, not be obliged, according to the contract, to pay the sanctions, Cristina Teodora Jinga, intentionally, determined the members of the commission of reception. of which Carmen Irimescu was a part, to sign a dated report, in which it is unrealistically mentioned that several documents had been delivered and signed, activities that resulted in damage of more than 213,000 lei to the region. Iasi, to which is added the value of the sanctions.

At the same time, between March and April 2015, Cristian Adomniţei, with direct intention, helped Jinga and Irimescu, by agreement with them, to avoid the discovery of the crimes they had committed and their criminal prosecution. DNA prosecutors said.
