A man died tonight at a private shooting range in sector 6, Agerpres reports, citing a statement from the Capital Police.
“When calling 112, an employee of a private firing range, in sector 6, reported that a man had been injured with a firearm. Police and first aid equipment came to the place, but despite medical efforts, death was found ”, is reflected in the statement from the Capital Police.
The investigations were undertaken by the Prosecutor’s Office attached to the Bucharest Court and the Capital Police Assassination Service in order to establish the causes and conditions in which the death occurred.
Five years ago, another tragic incident occurred at a private shooting range in Bucharest, when two people lost their lives.
One of the people who passed away in 2015 was the boot camp manager, who was also an instructor and had 30 years of experience handling weapons. Police sources say he was shot three times in the head and chest. The second victim was taking shooting lessons and had been seen several times at the shooting range.
