Italy is facing an alarming new number of deaths caused by Covid-19. In the last 24 hours, 853 people died, the worst death toll in the country since the end of March.
Italian authorities announced 853 deaths associated with COVID-19 on Tuesday, up from 630 a day ago and the worst figure since March 28, Reuters reports, cited by Agerpres.
According to the Ministry of Health, the number of new cases of coronavirus infection was 23,232 (from 188,659 tests), compared to 22,930 months (from 148,945 tests).
