Ciolacu hits Orban where he was not expected: “What do you eat for 6 lei?”

“6 lei a day! This is the ration that Orban imposed on people over 75, to whom he gave, in derision, cards for hot meals now, in the electoral campaign!”, Wrote Maracel Ciolacu, on Monday, on his Facebook page.

He claims that the NLP Government is making fun of the parents and grandparents of Romanians, granting ridiculous aid.

“6 lei a day! Only from restaurants closed by Orban himself! In the cold, on terraces or online, from tens of kilometers away, for those who live in rural areas. Have you heard anything more cynical than that? ? Of course, the money on the card will only come after the election. Now, just promises …

This is how European funds are used, by a government that has made itself a title of glory by humiliating all Romanians. Totally ineffective for the people targeted by the European program, but to the benefit of the liberal clientele.

Attack on Ludovic Orban

Ludovic, what do you eat for 6 lei a day? Whose company was it that printed the cards? What restaurants are approved to receive these cards? ”, Marcel Ciolacu also said.

The project referred to by the president of PSD, Marcel Ciolacu, is the Operational Program for Aid to Disadvantaged People 2014-2020 (POAD), financed by the European Fund for Aid to the Most Disadvantaged (FEAD).

According to the information published by the Ministry of European Funds, the amount allocated to the social bonus for hot meals in electronic format is 180 lei / month. The amounts available on the card are valid for 12 months from the date they are loaded onto the card. The maximum value of daily transactions accepted with the card is 40 lei. The cards can only be used in food establishments that serve hot food.

The support scheme envisaged that the beneficiaries would receive the funds from September, but due to delays due to bidding, the cards will only be replenished from December.

The beneficiaries of the cards are established based on GEO 115/2020 and represent: people aged 75 years and over, without material assistance, with income at the level of the social allowance for retirees (800 lei); homeless people, including people / families who have been evacuated and families with children who do not have a permanent home, especially single-parent families, writes Antena3.
