After the tests carried out at the national level, compared to the last report, there were 4,207 new cases of people infected with SARS – CoV – 2 (COVID – 19), these being cases that have not previously had a positive test. In Romania, 48,034 people confirmed with the new coronavirus infection are isolated in their homes and 12,459 people are in institutional isolation. Additionally, 82,274 people are in home quarantine and 15 people are in institutionalized quarantine.

Criminal cases and sanctions
As a result of the violation of the provisions of Law No. 55/2020 on some measures to prevent and combat the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, the police and gendarmes applied, on November 22 of this year, 8,948 sanctions for minor offenses, in the amount of 1,737,293 lei.
Likewise, through the competent structures of the Police, 3 crimes were found yesterday to frustrate the fight against diseases, a fact foreseen and sanctioned by art. 352 Penal Code.
We remind the public that the Ministry of the Interior has put into operation, as of 04/07/2020, a TELVERDE line (0800800165) where infractions to sanitary protection regulations can be notified.
