Prime Minister Ludovic Orban explains the voting procedure in parliamentary elections for people in isolation or quarantine. Orban assures that the quarantine measures will not prevent the exercise of the right to vote.
“There is some concern among citizens about the exercise of the right to vote. In all localities quarantined on December 6, citizens will be able to exercise their right to vote. There will be no restrictions to travel to polling stations. All citizens who are in isolation or quarantine, they will be able to exercise their right to vote through mobile ballot boxes, ”Orban said.

Ludovic Orban congratulated Minister Aurescu for organizing a sufficient number of polling stations abroad. “In the diaspora we have managed to open a large number of polling stations and there will be the possibility of exercising the right to vote. We are in talks with the authorities to allow travel to exercise the right to vote,” Orban added.
When asked if he expected low turnout, amid the pandemic, Orban said he was urging citizens to go to the polls, and the government has taken all steps to ensure security at polling stations.
