Meteorologists announce that the weather will drop from the end of this month, and in the higher areas the snow cover will be increasingly thick.

“The last week of the last month of this fall shows a colder week in most of the country. We observe negative thermal deviations, greater than two degrees at the average temperature level, in the western, southwestern and central part of the country. In fact, throughout the week, starting on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, we will see much lower temperatures in the intramontane depressions. If this morning we had -12 degrees Celsius in Miercurea Ciuc, on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday morning, it is possible to register -14 degrees Celsius, -12 degrees Celsius in almost the entire area of the intramontane depressions. The lowest temperatures during the nights and mornings, mostly negative, even in the Capital, -4. It will be colder on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday mornings. Basically, we will be recording the lowest temperatures so far this fall.

How December begins

In the lowlands of the south, west, center of the country, maintaining foggy conditions will not make temperatures even higher during the afternoons, and the maximums will be slightly lower, between 0 and a maximum of 11 degrees. It is possible that in the second half of the week, in the mountainous area of the south of the country, we have values even slightly above 13 degrees Celsius and to record these thermal inversion phenomena.

The trend of lower temperature values is maintained. The maximums will be between 0 and a maximum of 11-12 degrees Celsius. In Moldova, colder, 5-8 degrees Celsius at maximum levels. In the central zone and in depressions, lower values. The morning of December 1 will be cold, because the next two weeks will be characterized by mostly negative minimum temperatures, ” said Elena Mateescu.
